Private consultations

Many problems specific to women require one on one consultation and care. We have staff with specific training and experience in this area. Examples of things that we may be able to help with: sacroiliac and pubic symphysis joint problems, and pelvic floor weakness. We also offer discounts for one on one consults for specific post-natal abdominal retraining programs.

Breathing Class

This class is held once a month. Learning correct breathing during labour helps manage the tempo of contractions and can help prevent complications. The classes are kept small, with typically 2-5 couples participating. We usually hold the class in the home of one of the participants, and the classes take around 2 hours. We generally receive excellent feedback from post-natal mothers who have attended the classes on the effectiveness of the breathing techniques for controlling contractions.

Obstetric TENS rental

TENS is a clinically proven natural pain relief for labour. By stimulating the sensory nerves the pain receptors are inhibited and labour pain may be reduced. TENS use is very popular with women throughout the western world.
